Materials form the basis of everything we make and use - from homes and bridges to cars and mobile phones. The use of recycled materials significantly reduces climate impact, compared to producing raw materials from natural, virgin resources.

There’s a lot to do before we reach a circular economy. Today, only 12% of EU manufacturing is based on the use of recycled materials. At the same time, consumer demand for sustainable products is higher than ever before. This consumer trend is illustrated by The Circular Voice, a survey Stena Recycling conducted, which asked the opinions of 5,000 participants in five countries.
